Honesty
The Prophet Muhammad (S) said:
"Let not respect for men prevent any of you from speaking the truth when he knows it."

Insha'Allah this week, let us all strive to be honest in all our actions from telling the truth to fulfilling one's word.

Week 14:
Peace
The Prophet Muhammad (S) said,
"Do not cut relations between each other! Do not turn your backs on each other! Do not grow hatred between each other! O God's servants! Become brothers and sisters!"
-(Muslim, Birr, 23, 24, 28.)
Insha'Allah let us all pray for peace.

Week 13:
Tawakkul
The Prophet (S) said:
"If you truly put your trust on Allah, he would provide you (sustenance) as He provides the birds; where they leave in the morning with empty stomach and return back with full stomach."
-Ahmad and At-Tirmidhi
Insha'Allah this week, let us all make a conscious effort to have complete and endless trust in Allah (swt).
The Prophet (S) said:

Anger

“The strong is not the one who over comes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one who controls him while in anger."
(Hadith - Sahih Al-Bukhari 8.135, Narrated Abu Huraira, r.a.)
Insha'Allah this week, let us all try to keep calm in a moment of anger, for it will prevent many moments of regret.

Insha’Allah this week let us make a conscious effort to say Alhamdulilah for all the blessings in our life and let us try to sincerely please Allah (swt) in our actions to show our gratitude.

- Insha’Allah this week let us embody this characteristic from our beloved Prophet Muhammad (S), who was fittingly known as the Mercy to Mankind.

Dawah (Invitation)
The Prophet Muhammad (S) once said:
“If Allah guides a person through you, it is better for you than all that is on the earth.”
(Bukhari No. 2783 & Muslim No. 2406)
Insha'Allah this week, let us try to implement this action by inviting who ever we may to one of the events during our Islam Awareness week!

Family
The Prophet Muhammad (S) said:
“The best of you is he who is the best to his family, and I am the best among you to my family,”

Insha'Allah this week let us all spend quality time with our family and help them out in any way that we can, no matter how big or small.

"Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding. Who remember Allah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, [saying], "Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire." (3:190-191)
Insha'Allah this week let us all take a moment to reflect on our day, our deen, and our existence.

Our beloved Messenger of Allah (S) has taught us, "The supplication of a Muslim for his brother in his absence will certainly be answered. Every time he makes a supplication for good for his brother, the angel appointed for this particular task says: “Ameen!
