Dawud Wharnsby was the soundtrack of my elementary school life. His voice was soft and sweet, his drums were gentle, and the lessons in his lyrics easily made their way into my little kindergartner heart. Fifteen years later, the lesson I find myself still actively inculcating in my daily life comes from one of my favorite songs by Brother Dawud: 'Bismillah'. This is the song that taught me that no matter how small or great the act, whether it be opening up my crayon box in grade school or taking my first ever class in college, bless it by beginning with the name of Allah, and surely there will be success. -Tahseen Khaleel Loyola University Chicago

Wow! this is soooo true.. All the chapters in the Quran start with Bismillah, which shows how important it really is.. By saying Bismillah I think we get more Barakaa in everything we do InshaAllah..
